Touhou Monster TD: A Bullet Hell Tower Defense Masterpiece

Touhou Monster TD completely won me over. As a longtime Touhou fan, seeing all my favorite characters like Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya turned into unique tower units with their own skills and animations is such a treat. The gameplay strikes a great balance between strategy and fun — you actually have to think about positioning, upgrades, and team synergy instead of just spamming units. The art style stays true to the Touhou aesthetic, and the music had me smiling with nostalgia from the very first level.

What really stands out is how much care went into the little details. The gacha system feels fair compared to other mobile games, events roll out regularly, and the developers clearly listen to community feedback. I’ve played a lot of tower defense titles, but this one manages to stay fresh even after dozens of hours thanks to the variety in stages and boss mechanics. If you love Touhou or just enjoy well-made strategy games, this one deserves a spot on your home screen. Five stars — easily one of my favorite mobile games this year!
