Hellpoint: A Must-Play Sci-Fi Souls-Like Experience

Hellpoint is a hidden gem for anyone who loves the challenging soulslike formula but wants something fresh beyond typical fantasy settings. The eerie, abandoned space station atmosphere is incredibly immersive and kept me hooked throughout the entire campaign. While the combat takes a little time to master, it feels rewarding and snappy. Performance on my PC was very stable throughout my playthrough, and the level design offers some fantastic secrets if you are willing to explore every corridor.

If you enjoy co-op, this game really shines when you team up with a friend to take down the cosmic bosses. The story is cryptic and mysterious, letting you piece together the lore of the Irid Novo station at your own pace. While the graphics aren’t top-tier modern AAA, the art direction is fantastic and fits the dark sci-fi aesthetic perfectly. It is a solid, challenging experience that offers plenty of replay value for those who like to experiment with different weapon builds.
