SkyKeepers [PC Edition] PC Gameplay Review: Good Ideas

Public reviews for SkyKeepers [PC Edition] are mostly mixed or negative. Many players complain that the jumping and platforming feel slow, floaty, and difficult to control. This becomes especially frustrating during timed challenges and areas with instant-death traps because the character’s hitbox feels too large.

Some players do enjoy the game’s “SkyWalking” teleport ability, which makes combat more exciting at first. However, the fights soon become repetitive because enemies behave the same way and many levels feel reused. The story also receives criticism. The dark storyline about the village chief, Tangi, starts off interesting but later feels confusing and poorly paced. Players also mention awkward dialogue and the lack of voice acting, which makes the experience less engaging.

The village-building system gives players something to work toward, but many feel the upgrades are not rewarding enough. The animations are also described as basic and outdated. Technical problems are another major issue on PC. Some players report serious bugs, including getting stuck in walls or the game crashing completely. Because of these problems, many reviewers do not fully recommend the game.
