Public reviews for SkyKeepers [PC Edition] are mostly mixed or negative. Many players complain that the jumping and platforming feel slow, floaty, and difficult to control. This becomes especially frustrating during timed challenges and areas with instant-death traps because the character’s hitbox feels too large.

Some players do enjoy the game’s “SkyWalking” teleport ability, which makes combat more exciting at first. However, the fights soon become repetitive because enemies behave the same way and many levels feel reused. The story also receives criticism. The dark storyline about the village chief, Tangi, starts off interesting but later feels confusing and poorly paced.
