Second Hand: Frankie’s Revenge is honestly one of the most underrated roguelites I have played recently. The premise of playing as a sentient appliance fighting off waves of junk is hilarious, and the gameplay loop is incredibly addictive. The weapon customization is deep enough to keep things fresh, and the vibrant, cartoony art style really pops on screen. It runs smoothly on my PC, and the combat feels tight, responsive, and rewarding even during the more chaotic boss encounters.
The replay value here is solid because every run feels different, especially as you unlock new parts to frankenstein your robot with. I love how the developers keep the updates coming, which shows they really care about the player experience. It’s a great pick-up-and-play title if you enjoy fast-paced action and quirky humor. While the difficulty can spike, it never feels unfair, just challenging enough to keep you coming back for that one last run. Definitely worth checking out.
