I recently picked up Obsidian Legacy and I am honestly blown away by the depth of the world-building. The combat system feels incredibly fluid, requiring actual strategy rather than just button mashing through every encounter. While the graphics have a distinct, stylized indie aesthetic, they fit the dark, moody tone of the story perfectly. If you are playing on a high-end PC, the frame rates stay buttery smooth even during the most chaotic boss battles. It is definitely a refreshing experience.
The progression system in Obsidian Legacy keeps me coming back for more because there are so many ways to customize my character builds. I’ve spent hours experimenting with different skill trees, and the replay value is surprisingly high for a title of this size. The developers have been pretty consistent with updates, fixing minor bugs and balancing weapons based on community feedback. If you love immersive role-playing games that don’t hold your hand too much, this is a must-play title for your library.
