Dex: A Cyberpunk RPG Masterpiece

Dex is an absolute gem for anyone who loves a good cyberpunk atmosphere. I was genuinely impressed by the depth of the world-building and the branching narrative paths that make every decision feel significant. The side-scrolling platforming mixed with RPG elements keeps the gameplay loop engaging, while the gritty art style perfectly captures that dystopian aesthetic. It runs very smoothly on my PC, and the controls feel responsive enough even during the more intense combat sequences. It is definitely a must-play for fans of iconic sci-fi stories.

I really enjoyed the freedom I had to build my character, whether I wanted to go stealthy, hack everything in sight, or just fight my way through. The boss battles are challenging but fair, requiring you to think about your upgrades and gear setup before diving in. While the backtracking can occasionally feel a bit tedious, the quality of the dialogue and the mysterious plot more than make up for it. It is a fantastic indie title that definitely deserves more attention in the current gaming landscape.
