Sheltered is easily one of the most stressful yet rewarding survival games I have ever played. You’re essentially managing a family in a tiny bunker after a global collapse, and every single decision feels like a gamble between life and death. The pixel art style is charming but hides a brutal experience where resource management is key. It runs perfectly on my PC, and I’ve spent countless hours trying to keep my family fed and safe from the wasteland outside.
The replay value here is incredible because no two runs ever feel the same. One bad scavenging trip can lead to your entire family unit falling apart, which makes every victory hit much harder. While the crafting system can be a bit overwhelming at first glance, you eventually get the hang of the mechanics. If you enjoy games that punish your mistakes but offer deep, engaging management strategy, this is definitely worth picking up for your library.
