Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is an absolute blast if you enjoy classic dungeon crawlers with a modern twist. The pixel art style is charming and vibrant, making every dungeon floor feel distinct and fun to explore. I love how the class system allows you to switch playstyles on the fly, which keeps the gameplay loop fresh for hours. It’s definitely one of the best local and online co-op experiences I’ve had in a long time; playing with friends makes the boss battles feel truly epic.
The performance on PC is incredibly smooth, and I haven’t encountered any major bugs during my playthrough. While the procedural generation can sometimes result in tricky room layouts, it adds a nice layer of challenge that keeps you coming back for more. The town-building mechanics are a great touch, giving you a sense of progression outside of the action. If you love retro-inspired adventures and tight controls, you really owe it to yourself to give this game a try.
