Robin Hood The Legend of Sherwood remains one of my absolute favorite tactical games from my childhood. The mix of real-time strategy and stealth mechanics is perfectly balanced, requiring you to think carefully before making a move. Managing your band of Merry Men and utilizing their specific skills to infiltrate castles is incredibly satisfying. Even though it is an older title, the hand-drawn art style holds up surprisingly well on a modern PC, providing a nostalgic yet fresh tactical experience.

The level design is brilliant, offering multiple ways to complete missions whether you want to go in guns blazing or play it completely stealthy. I love how the story unfolds through charming cutscenes that capture the spirit of the legend. While the control scheme takes a minute to master if you are used to modern movement, it feels very intuitive once you get the hang of it. Robin Hood a timeless gem that definitely deserves a spot in any strategy fan’s collection.
