Playing as Jason, you really feel the weight of your decisions as you journey across the Aegean Sea. While the combat isn’t as complex as modern action titles, the storytelling and the unique way stats are tied to the gods keep things interesting. The game Rise of the Argonauts  runs relatively smoothly on most PC setups despite its age, and the art direction holds up surprisingly well for a retro title. I loved how the dialogue system influenced my standing with different deities, which actually changed how my character performed in battle.
