Public reviews of the PC “RePack” version of Pure (2008) describe it as a masterpiece of arcade racing games, extraordinary and full of adrenaline, which, unfortunately, is trapped in a deeply flawed and abandoned PC port [1]. On the one hand, players praise the core game and, due to its incredible sense of speed, massive vertical jumps and addictive trick system — where successful stunts unlock even crazier gravity-defying moves — they often describe it as “SSX on wheels”.
