Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an absolute masterpiece for anyone who loves deep, tactical role-playing games. The sheer amount of build variety and the complexity of the Mythic Paths make every playthrough feel like a fresh experience. While the learning curve is quite steep due to the intricate rule set ported from the tabletop version, the payoff is incredibly rewarding. I’ve spent over a hundred hours playing this on my PC, and I still feel like I’m discovering new story branches.
The story is epic in scale, forcing you to make difficult moral choices that genuinely shift the direction of the crusade. Visually, it captures the dark, demonic aesthetic perfectly, and the character portraits are top-tier. Performance has seen significant improvements since launch, making the grand-scale combat encounters run much smoother. If you appreciate dense lore, strategic turn-based or real-time gameplay, and a world that reacts meaningfully to your every decision, this is easily one of the best isometric CRPGs ever created.
