NecroVision: Lost Company is a wild ride if you enjoy fast-paced shooters that don’t take themselves too seriously. The mix of WWI trench warfare and supernatural horror feels incredibly unique, even by today’s standards. I had a blast mowing down waves of zombies and demons with period-accurate weapons mixed with arcane powers. It runs surprisingly well on a modern PC, and the intense combat sequences definitely keep your heart racing from start to finish.
The level design is surprisingly varied, taking you through some creepy environments that really lean into the gothic horror aesthetic. While the story might feel a bit campy to some, the satisfying gunplay and creative enemy encounters more than make up for it. I found the boss fights to be particularly challenging, requiring a mix of strategy and pure trigger-happy reflexes. If you want an adrenaline-pumping experience that feels like a throwback to classic arcade shooters, this title is worth picking up.
