Goat Simulator Payday is easily one of the most ridiculous and hilarious expansions I have ever played. Swapping out standard goat chaos for a heist-themed crew was a stroke of genius. The four unique characters each bring their own weird abilities to the table, making the city map feel fresh and packed with opportunities for destruction. Performance is generally solid on my PC, and the physics-based bugs honestly just add to the intended charm of the game.
I’ve spent hours just messing around with the different characters and finding all the hidden secrets scattered across the map. It’s not meant to be a serious heist game, and that is exactly why it works so well. The replay value is surprisingly high because the sandbox environment lets you cause mayhem in dozens of different ways. If you want a game that doesn’t take itself seriously and offers pure, mindless fun, this is a must-download for your library.
