Astebreed PC Review | Combat, Story & Gameplay Breakdown

Astebreed is a very exciting and fast-paced shooting game that many players love for its amazing visuals and smooth gameplay. It is often praised as one of the most cinematic and stylish shoot-’em-up games ever made.

One of the best features of the game is how the camera changes during gameplay. It can switch between side-view shooting, top-down action, and even a behind-the-character 3D view, all in the same level. This makes the game feel fresh and movie-like.

The combat is also very fun. You can shoot enemies with homing lasers while also using a powerful energy sword to cut through bullets and attacks. There is also a shield that helps you survive longer, which makes the game easier for beginners. At the same time, skilled players can aim for high scores using combo systems and perfect timing.

However, the game also has some problems. The action can become very chaotic, making it hard to see what is happening on screen. The story is told through fast Japanese voice lines with subtitles, which are difficult to read during intense gameplay, so the story can feel confusing.

Another downside is that the game is very short. Experienced players can finish it in less than an hour, which may feel too short for some people.

Also, because there are so many bright effects, explosions, and moving visuals, it can sometimes be hard to see enemy attacks clearly, which may lead to unexpected hits.
