Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition is genuinely one of the best zombie games I have ever played. The addition of the buggy makes traversing the vast countryside so much more satisfying than just running on foot. I played this on PC, and the performance was incredibly smooth with the updated graphics settings. The parkour mechanics feel just as snappy as ever, and the story expansion adds a surprising amount of depth to the original Harran experience.

If you are a fan of open-world survival games, you really cannot go wrong here. The replay value is massive, especially with the inclusion of all the DLC packs and the challenging Nightmare mode. It’s rare to see a title get this much post-launch love from developers, and it shows in every mission. Whether you are hacking through hordes of infected or just exploring the hidden secrets on the map, this edition remains a gold standard for the genre.
