Singularity is genuinely one of the most underrated shooters I have ever played. The time-manipulation mechanics are implemented perfectly, allowing you to age or restore objects to solve puzzles and take down enemies in creative ways. Even by today’s standards, the atmosphere on Katorga-12 feels incredibly tense and immersive. If you are looking for a solid single-player experience with a gripping sci-fi narrative that actually holds up on a modern PC, this title is an absolute must-play.

I honestly wish more modern games took notes from this one’s level design. The gunplay feels punchy, and the upgrade system keeps things interesting throughout the entire campaign. While the graphics show their age slightly, the art direction is fantastic and keeps the environment feeling dangerous and mysterious. It is a shame we haven’t seen a sequel or a remake yet because the core loop is just so much fun to jump back into even years after its initial launch.
