E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy is honestly one of the most bizarre yet addictive shooters I have ever played. It definitely isn’t for everyone because the mechanics are incredibly dense and the learning curve is steep, but once it clicks, there is nothing else like it. The atmosphere is thick with cyberpunk dread, and the sheer number of cybernetic abilities you can experiment with is insane. If you enjoy games that don’t hold your hand and demand total focus, this is a masterpiece on PC.
The game is definitely aging in terms of graphics, but the gameplay loop keeps me coming back for more. It feels like a mix of Deus Ex and a fever dream. The technical side can be a bit janky, and the UI is definitely a product of its time, but the replay value is massive due to the branching paths and complex character builds. Despite the occasional bug, the experimental nature of the combat makes it a cult classic that every shooter fan should experience at least once.
