Flatland Vol.2 builds on the original with even tighter controls and more challenging level designs. I really enjoyed how the neon aesthetic pops while you are dodging lasers and spikes at high speeds. The movement feels fluid, and the respawn system is nearly instant, which keeps the frustration low when you inevitably fail a jump. It is a fantastic pick-up-and-play title if you enjoy minimalism mixed with intense, rhythmic platforming gameplay that tests your reflexes throughout every stage.
The transition to playing this on my PC was seamless, and the performance is incredibly smooth even during the most hectic platforming sequences. While the story is subtle, the level variety and the sheer satisfaction of nailing a perfect run provide immense replay value. The developers clearly put a lot of love into the design, and it shows in how the game feels. If you love games that reward precision and timing, this is definitely a must-have in your library.
