Death Trash is easily one of the most unique RPG experiences I’ve played in years. The world-building is bizarre, blending cosmic horror with a retro-futuristic punk aesthetic that feels truly fresh. I love how the gameplay rewards exploration and experimentation, giving you the freedom to handle quests in multiple ways. The pixel art is absolutely gorgeous, creating a dirty, lived-in world that draws you in immediately. If you are playing on a PC, the controls feel tight and responsive for both combat and dialogue.
The writing in this game is top-notch, filled with dark humor and unsettling characters that stay with you long after you stop playing. While it is still evolving with post-launch updates, the current state of the game offers plenty of content to keep you hooked for dozens of hours. I found the inventory management easy to handle, and the overall performance is smooth even during intense combat encounters. It’s a standout title for fans of classic isometric RPGs who want something weird and memorable.
