UnderMine is hands down one of the most addictive roguelikes I have played in a long time. The gameplay loop of diving into the mines, collecting gold, and upgrading your peasant is incredibly satisfying. I love how the relics and potions change up every single run, making sure that things never feel stale. The pixel art style is charming and clean, and it runs buttery smooth on my PC, which is always a huge plus for these types of fast-paced action games.

The progression system really sets this game apart from other titles in the genre. Even when you die, you feel like you are making progress because you can keep your gold to unlock permanent buffs. The controls are tight and responsive, and the challenging boss fights always keep me on my toes. It has a high replay value that kept me hooked for dozens of hours. If you enjoy deep dungeon crawlers with plenty of secrets to discover, you definitely need to play this.
