Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is a total blast if you have a friend to play with. The mix of ranged archery and melee combat feels really satisfying, especially when you pull off those combined abilities. While it isn’t the longest game, the dark fantasy atmosphere keeps you hooked from start to finish. I played through the entire campaign on my PC, and despite a few older technical quirks, the experience was smooth and highly entertaining for a weekend session.
I honestly think this title is underrated in the action-RPG genre. The loot system and character progression provide enough depth to keep things interesting without feeling too overwhelming or grindy. It’s definitely a fun, arcade-style dungeon crawl that focuses more on tactical teamwork than deep, complex lore. If you enjoy games that don’t take themselves too seriously but still deliver solid, fast-paced combat, you should give this one a look. It’s a classic experience that still holds up quite well today.
